For example, if you are double-tracking guitars record your standard left and right (Dry) takes, then in the middle record a version with Vibrato on. Four decades on, the spacious modulated tone of the signature BOSS effect is still loved by musicians everywhere. It has two 1/4" outputs to use either in mono or stereo and a buffered bypass which helps maintain signal integrity when using a long cable or in conjunction with other pedals with lots of patch cables. LEVEL knob allows you to adjust the amount of effect applied to the output from the pedal so you can take it from a slight accent on your sound to a full, juicy chorus sound. Tracing its roots back to the late 80's, this is one of the most popular and best-selling chorus pedals in the market today and has been in production for over 30 years!

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. A chorus pedal repeats what you play at very close intervals, to create the illusion of multiple guitars playing at once. Launched in 1976, the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was not only the world’s first chorus effect pedal, but also the very first BOSS pedal. In general, we recommend the CH-1 for players looking for an all-purpose chorus that can be used subtly to thicken things up, or more aggressively to add a modern shimmer to both clean and driven tones. At Kenny's Music we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously. Direct comparisons depend on the exact pedal in question, but in general, the CH-1 has an edgier, cleaner tone with a wider frequency range that could perhaps be described as ‘more hi-fi’.

Andertons Music Company is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm registration number 716155.Never tried it stereo with two amps, only tried in stereo into digital amps, which make volume adjustments far easier than real tube amps, so would be curious to see how that volume knob helps! Apart from its amazing stereo chorus effect, one thing that really sets the Boss CE-5 Chorus pedal apart from the competition is its easy to use yet powerful controls. If you're looking for a standard, no-frills yet highly tweakable stereo chorus pedal, the CH-1 is a reliable and versatile option. This controls how fast the chorus goes, and the knob on the right is the depth control, this control how deep the chorus goes. If you're going for something more out of the box and downright wacky, you might want to look elsewhere.

Although chorus is an effect that I had taken for granted in the past, I was pleasantly surprised at what the CH-1 could do for my tone. You can tell whether a page is secure as 'https' will replace the 'http' at the front of the kennysmusic. As nice as it is to have the switch, I have found myself leaving it on Boss CE-2w setting most of the time. Sure; companies like Empress, Strymon, and Earthquaker all make extraordinary pedals, but this is definitely another example of why Boss STILL commands respect in the world of guitar effects.
