I have made multiple meals from this incredibly easy-to-follow recipe book and even the meat-eaters are impressed! Although I would, without hesitation, recommend this book to anyone new to vegan cooking, what about those of us who are old hands?

I am going to state right up front that while I probably can cook vegan it’s not going to be something I am going to do very often. It's got a bunch of recipes, easy to follow, and it includes that style of writing that Isa has put into each of her books.

And after a few decades of writing her own cookbooks, she knows what the people want: easy-to-follow instructions and accessible ingredients. The icing is very sweet, but when combined with the cupcake (which was not sweet) it made for the perfect bite.But the book isn’t only for meat eaters looking for a better way to live-Moskowitz wants to get vegans to start cooking more so that they can worry less about what they can and cannot eat. stars -- I got a big kick out of the artwork and typeface in this book, which should bring a nostalgic twinge to anyone who attended elementary school in the 1970s or 1980s. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I initially resisted picking it up because it's targeted at people who are learning to cook vegan food and I've been doing so for decades. Not allowing supper time to have all the fun I made us some Autumn Seitan Salad Sandwiches for lunch.
