From what I’ve read on MGS, the Kirkland balls spin too much for me, so I probably would not use them anyway. on a SkyTrak launch monitor against the original version of the ball as well as some other urethane covered offerings from different brands. This time around, I picked up a box of the new yellow option of the 3-piece ball and put it through its paces to see if the ball seems any different. The longevity of your printed design will depend on which ball you choose – if you have any questions about our golf balls and how long your printed design will last, please contact gimmeballs today.

A tool like Trackman is great for measuring these higher swing speed full shots to the green, but it can be a little tricky when looking to get the spin rates and on-course performance for those shorter greenside shots. We have heard one too many players state that they were going to switch to the Kirkland golf balls because the Titleist Pro V1 is too expensive. It’s just a few yards here and there, but the spin rates are something to watch out for if you are a golfer known to generate a ton of spin with your current golf equipment.I have played with plenty of cost conscious golfers over the years who are really out there to slap a few shots around and have some drinks. Contact gimmeballs now if you have any questions about our high-quality Kirkland golf balls and how to personalise them. Had a friend borrow my wedge the following week and when he handed it back, there were white shavings all over it - confirmed he was hitting a Kirkland. My distance and control were considerably better with this ball when directly compared to the previous version. I MAY be willing to pay 3x the cost of a ball if I may save 4-5 strokes using a premium ball……any thoughts on this?

The new 2024 Ventus features new Velocore + technology, but where will it fit in the brand's shaft lineup? But I did take a few notes, and even got on the simulator to see if the numbers confirmed what I was feeling out on the course.

The overall feel is a bit firm from the Kirkland ball, and I prefer other golf balls with a little less firmness.

It’s a bit like mixing different models into the same dozen (and lots of golfers play different balls over the same round) or a bit like if I randomly bent that 9-iron you mentioned a degree or two in either direction every time you pulled it out of the bag. The bigger fear of the excessive spin claims with the Kirkland ball is that slicers might have more trouble with them. Throughout the rest of the round, I noticed that the Kirkland Signature golf balls respond well when conditions are ideal for high spin and they really work well with full wedge shots. If you look at the packaging the yellow balls are made in a different plant from a different country. Kirkland Signature balls are what we can consider cheap at this point, especially for a three-piece golf ball. Make no mistake, the Kirkland is a very high-spin golf ball, which means the model is either shortest or joint shortest at 85mph/100mph with a driver, and 7-iron, so this model is likely to be less useful for higher-speed players.

Although it would take longer for me to continue to test these Kirkland golf balls, I think I experience more of an issue with scuffs and marks on the Pro V1 than I do on the Kirkland. I play a wide range of balls (though I play K Sigs the most) and don’t notice giant differences between them.

When it comes to the short game, the original Costco ball really impressed with a performance comparable to high-end Tour balls. Pretty firm off the face, loud at impact, high launch, maybe a very slight loss in distance if any, and more unintentional shot shape than I’m used to.
