I tested both the G903 and the G703 with a variety of games to see how well they performed, and how efficiently they charged. Out of curiosity, we tried attaching other gadgets that make use of wireless charging, such as the Samsung Galaxy S8, but to no effect.

If you dedicate yourself to competitive games for hours and hours at a time, running out of battery, or stopping to recharge, or letting a wire get in your way, simply may not be viable options.

It looks quite a bit like Razer and Corsair’s recent RGB mousepads—a semi-stiff piece of plastic, measuring approximately 12×13 inches, with a thicker hub in the upper-left corner where the USB cable connects to your computer.

Like many gamers I’m traditionally skeptical of wireless mice, but Logitech’s shaken me of those concerns. You're entitled to as many new replacement products as necessary during the three years of your plan, and your plan continues even if your product is replaced. The beauty of POWERPLAY is that your mouse will simply just charge both while it is in use and while it isn't, so dead batteries and wireless disconnect will never stop your flow again.Continuously charge your compatible Logitech G gaming mice: G703, G903, G502 LIGHTSPEED, G502 X LIGHTSPEED, G502 X PLUS, PRO Wireless, PRO X Superlight and more. Conceptually, I love it already, and the only trace of skepticism I have is about whether it works quite as well as Logitech promises. In the end, there's nothing else quite like the PowerPlay, but "it works well" is the only cogent analysis I can make of it. After racking my brains and consulting my co-workers, the best we can come up with is that the PowerPlay could alleviate a pain point for a small but dedicated contingent of competitive players — especially those on the burgeoning esports scene. It works on any surface, weighs very little, incredibly comfortable and you can customise both the software and the buttons on the mice.

Nano receiver connects discretely via USB and is fully capable of transmitting at a report rate of 1,000 Hz (1 ms) to the PC. I’m not looking forward to another fractured peripherals landscape as each manufacturer rolls out a version of Powerplay in the next few years—Corsair’s is already announced, and while it uses the open Qi standard, it won’t be compatible with Logitech’s tech. It comes with a high quality charging cable and can be used while charging, unlike some other wireless mice, and looks great. Moreover, the mouse mat consists of 2 different mats: one with a soft bottom and one with a hard surface. I asked Logitech why it didn't go with something more ubiquitous like the Qi standard, and the answer I received was that it wouldn't have been possible to cover the whole surface (275mm x 320mm) of the pad with Qi.You can monitor a mouse's charging status with the Logitech Gaming Software, although you won't really have to. There's no huge advantage to doing this, but each mouse can last for about 20 hours on a charge, so letting them discharge for a while doesn't do any harm.
