Description

These durable blocks are virtually unbreakable, making them perfect for the demands of the classroom. MathLink Cubes also feature geometric shapes on 6 sides, which opens up even more learning opportunities. The cubes can also be used for learning basic number concepts, comparing, measurement, sequencing, patterning, and counting.

From counting and sorting to multiplication and area, these colourful cubes are a valuable tool from Reception Year to Key Stage 2.

MathLink Cubes are the linkable, stackable counting cubes that help young children build essential maths skills through hands-on learning. I bought these as math manipulatives for my 5 yr old who is starting kindergarden virtually for kindergarten. Unifix® cubes can help children in EYFS with their subitising skills and to help develop their understanding of the number system and patterns/symmetry. Set of 100 plastic 3/4" cubes in 10 colors link together on all sides so students can easily build and explore spatial relationships.

All of my kids have loved building with them and I’ve ended up using them more as an incentive to do schoolwork than I have used them as a math manipulative/teaching tool.

Use Unifix® to help children to conceptualise addition, subtraction and fractions in a visual, concrete way. Now, we are bringing this experience to the Kids First Math line, a series of nine hands-on kits with activity cards or lesson guides designed to demonstrate and teach concepts in mathematics, as well as other skills such as logical thinking, problem solving, and creative thinking. They’re brilliant, vibrant, versatile, and I think every household with kids should own a set, or two, or three. Packaging / resources included for basic 100 cube set: Comes with a resealable plastic bag and a short activity leaflet (mostly words, no colour). Help children build number sense and early years math skills with the stackable, linkable MathLink Cubes.

Mom of 6 – “We were first introduced to linking cubes 8 years ago when we purchased our first homeschool math curriculum. Children will engage in a variety of maths concepts using these colourful, connectable, twistable cubes. Each cube features five different geometric shapes on five of the sides: circle, square, triangle, pentagon and hexagon.

There are many other ideas too for using interlocking maths multilink cubes and these can be found on activity cards or in a super Unifix/Snap cubes book. Indents have geometric shapes cut out on four of the six sides: triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon. A.1 Understand addition as putting together and adding to, and understand subtraction as taking apart and taking from.
