I know, I dyed my hair 2 months ago according to Instagram, but think of it this way, some of you may have been waiting to find out if Colour Freedom hair dyes are any good but now I can give you the FULL low down. Of course I can’t just dye over dark brown hair with semi permanent: the colour won’t take and it’d just be a complete waste of money.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. I’ve just used Mystic Purple on my grey hair, which is quite light at the front and darker everywhere else. This was the colour we dyed over: not freshly dyed, because as we learned from the Mystic Violet review, my hair goes black after first being dyed, which is the same with the Superdrug dye, but this was a few washes afterwards. So, with the help of my wonderful mother, we decided it was time for a change, and we definitely got a change. The consistency is thick enough that it coats each hair without any dripping and the colour straight from the tube is WOW. It was so super bright and even blinding when the sun hit off it in the car, I was so impressed with the result and to this day, around 2 weeks after its still not faded out of my hair! Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). Now, I’ll give a quick little bullet point review, but I think the before and after pictures will be enough to show the difference it can make.

Luckily, my hair is in really good condition to say I haven’t had a hair cut in around 8 months and it’s always being dyed. We all know I started dying my hair purple in March using Live XXL Mystic Violet hair dye, and while I’m still purple, I recently switched to Superdrugs own Cosmic Purple seeing as it is usually a 2 for 1 offer, and it’s not tested on animals. Which is amazing to say the least bit I was expecting it to go lighter quicker and now seek for lighter ends on my hair! BOOSTS SHINE: unique Shine Booster Complex technology combines shea butter and argan oil for a deep conditioning formula that adds natural looking shine.

If you’ve ever stumbled across my Instagram or read this post, you’re bound to have noticed that my hair is mostly brightly coloured. These dyes are a super thick and creamy formula, like Directions or Crazy Colour but they feel even more moisturising as they have shea butter and argan oil in them.

I’ve still got darker tones in my hair, but since using these I’ve coloured with Directions Cerise and that’s what I’m picking up again this weekend.
