Should note that the options in the UI do differ from the app to the web to the touch screen, and there are even more hidden options available. Am I right that the difference in the third digit of the IP addresses (0/1/5) indicates different subnet masks? When shipped to GB or ROI, all our electronic articles come with a BSI-proven power adaptor fitted by our company.

Shouldn't I be able to see all the devices connected via the MW6 mesh system through the ZTE's admin dashboard? I have used a timer switch to top up the charge on of the device every 6 hrs and it appears to be working fine, I will get a set of external aerials and wired it to the two external aerial ports to increase or better its reception.

The MU5001 supports PP2P / L2TP and other client modes, so you can easily access the internal network outside the company or campus. Prior to making this change you almost certainly had two routers connected "one behind the other" (namely the 5G router and the first MW node) which would have partitioned you network into two separate IP subnets (as it's known. Just set the the SSID to something different to your Tenda system and give it a passphrase no-one knows.

I live at the area where 5G is said covered by Vodafone but test via Speed Test the 5G only comes with less than 50MB but 4G is roughly tribble times than 5G. Mick, your explanation helps me better understand how it all works albeit when you start talking about subnets you're getting towards the limit of my understanding.

As such, nothing is in any meaningful way "connected" to a router, it's simple not necessary in the way IP networks function. So it doesn't matter that the 5G cannot "see" all other devices on the network, or whether they are connected Wi-Fi or wired - the 5G router has no way to tell how anything is connected downstream of itself (it may even report them all as "wired" despite them being connected to the Tenda by Wi-Fi) apart from any devices connected to it's own Wi-Fi AP. Also as a process of elimination I would recommend trying the unit at the mast location in case its not connecting due to signal level or other trigger. If you get full coverage, and provided you can access the ZTE settings either from a wired ethernet device or via the MW6 wifi connection then you could simply turn off wifi in your ZTE.

My new ZTE MU5001 MiFi box just arrived and I popped my Three unlimited data mobile phone SIM, but I am only getting 3G, not 4G or 5G. I've tried messing around with the APN settings with no luck so far, I phoned Three and they were very unhelpful, eventually they decided to just send out a new SIM to try. My understanding was that in the bridge mode setup, my ZTE would do all the DHCP management and the MW6 would simply extend that network around the house. There’s is also a International Roaming checkbox on the MiFi settings you will need to check the box.For more information and what this modification can, do take a look at our “ Modification Info” page. How can I assign fixed IPs to the specific devices I want to (printer, etc) if I can't actually see them in the ZTE's admin panel? With the ZTE MU5001 5G LTE Advanced Mobile Wireless Router, one can connect Wi-Fi devices to the Internet. My only issue is that I would have expected to see all my various connected devices listed by the ZTE but I don't (although just one has appeared in the interim).
