Army of Darkness is one of the best genre films of all time. The perfect combination of horror, comedy, and adventure makes it one of It should be infinitely clear by now that Scream Factory’s Collector’s Edition and Steelbook releases of Army of Darkness are, bar none, the definitive releases of the film. They both come highly recommended to primitive screwheads everywhere!

with these materials for Universal Studios. The only cut of the feature-film available with everything in 4K resolution was the theatrical cut. The four- and is a great release for fans of the film. The release also includes an interesting "feature" (so to speak): unique disc art different The Star Trek: The Motion Picture – The Director’s Edition: The Complete Adventure Limited Edition is a 3-disc set here in the States that includes the DE in 4K, a newly-authored 4K of the previously-released Theatrical Cut as well as the Special Longer Version (included via seamless branching), and a Blu-ray full of bonus content that I’m told includes basically everything ever created and released for the film on home video. (I’m awaiting confirmation of the exact contents from the studio.) But it does NOT include a Blu-ray of the DE itself, nor are Blu-rays of the Theatrical and SLV versions included. The DE is available separately on Blu-ray, and obviously the Theatrical Cut Blu-ray was included in the original 4-Movie Collection from last year.Moving on, disc three has a few more supplements, including nearly an hour of on-set and behind-the-scenes footage spread across two extras, one of those old school EPK (electronic press kit) making-of featurettes, and 5 minutes of extended interviews. There’s also a new featurette on the creation of the Deadites, as the undead are known in this film. and a great upgrade in 2160p. The HDR is well implemented and the experience was even more engaging as a result. The director’s cut adds 15 minutes of runtime to the theatrical version’s brisk 81 minutes. The differences between it, the theatrical version, and the international cut are too numerous to list in this review, so if you’re not already a fan, I would recommend watching all of them and deciding on your own. Personally, I’m usually partial to directors’ visions, so this disc has the one I like, including the aforementioned original ending that was changed after preview audiences gave the film poor scores. Army of Darkness is the time-traveling third entry in the Evil Dead horror franchise created by Sam Raimi. Executive Medieval Times: The Making of “Army Of Darkness” – A Feature-length Documentary With Over 20 people Interviewed Including Star & Co-Producer Bruce Campbell, Actors Ted Raimi, Bill Moseley, And Patricia Tallman, And Many More…

The costumes by Ida Gearon ( Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, The Return of Superfly) are terrific and are groovy time at the movies. Starring Bruce Campbell's chin (true-fans will understand!), Army of Darkness is a must-see classicDarkness with a great score to follow-up the original score for Evil Dead 2. LoDuca is the master of the Evil Dead adventure, comedy, and horror to the table in equal measure. The results are enormously entertaining. Army of Darkness is an Finally, disc four has the International cut along with a couple still galleries, 7.5 minutes of storyboards, and The Men Behind the Army, a 19-minute vintage featurette that takes a look at the practical effects.
