Description

Coxon left the band during early recording sessions for Think Tank, and Blur disbanded for several years after the end of the album's associated tour, with the members engaged in other projects.

The package itself is something else too, there’s an Asian influence, possibly as recordings were made in Hong Kong, the sleeve is beautiful and even has an Obi strip like vinyl from Japan. Compensation for damage or loss should be pursued through the claims procedure offered by the Royal Mail - contact us if you need help with this. We carry a broad range of CDs and vinyl (7”/12” singles and LPs) and specialise in indie, alternative, rock, punk, metal plus a few other genres. Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased. Alternative rock groups wish their 'creative' side, which usually leaves the listener a little weirded out, sounded as good as Blur just being, well.

In an attempt to distract themselves, they worked on new material in Avon Studios, as announced by Damon Albarn during the gig at AsiaWorld-Expo, Chek Lap Kok. The Magic Whip is Blur's surprise reunion record - the biggest surprise of which is how effortlessly it maintains the band's essence, while pushing it's sound into uncharted territory. There’s a double sided giant poster, two printed inner sleeves, a mirror on the rear of the heavy card matt gatefold sleeve and a download card. It wasn't until Graham Coxon reprised these sessions and presented them to long-time producer Stephen Street, who went on to develop them with the guitarist, that they realised they might have material worthy of a new album.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. The album will connect to everyone in a different way, but it sounded like Broken Bell's outer space sound, combined with Damon's Britpop flavor, and a lot more electronic sounds you've heard with other Blur works. Thankfully, this is the first album released this year that has left me simultaneously pleasantly relaxed and upbeat.
