Focusing on completing detailed patterns and adding colour creatively has a relaxing, stress-busting effect. Another fun breathing activity could be to count breaths and use colours, eg Breathe in 1/red, breathe out 2/orange, imaging the colours with each inhale and exhale. Open this colouring book at a random page and your eyes will be dazzled by all the colours and intricate designs.The illustrations are fairly simple without a huge amount of detail (which can be stressful on the eye to even look at sometimes), and feel very comforting and sweet. This emphasises that you're concentrating on only one task and encouraging the training of your mind to one focal point.
