This book reads as an educational manual, but you will quickly realise that there is a unique premise and plot unfolding – that of an uber entertaining thriller, filled with murder and mayhem. A funny, fast-paced, flip-the-playbook mystery in which three ordinary citizens are trained in murder on a luxurious hidden estate . I would have liked just a little more thrilling moments sprinkled through the slow burn to keep me more invested, but overall it was quite the fun read!

Students arrive at McMasters in secrecy, and never know the location of the school, which has a mailing address on the Faroe Islands. Two of his Broadway musicals — "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" (written when he lived in Tenafly, New Jersey) and "Curtains" (written when he lived in Scarsdale) — are whodunits.
