Additionally make sure your User-Agent is not empty and is something unique and descriptive and try again. Onto the feet, the feet are very durable and (Now) smooth, as it's been worn down gradually to very, VERY smooth as I play on a wooden surface.

I aimed to keep it the same weight as the MX518, same form factor, and with all components mounted to the bottom so that the top could be easily removed.I can’t stand a mouse where the scroll wheel feels like it has different sections in it you pass or that’s bumpy on your finger. I do own a G400 (the older version with the same sesnor as G400S), and for FPS use, the sensor wasn't cutting it for me after some 2-3 years. On the other hand, the MX518 has more programmable buttons, and its curved shape feels more comfortable. If you'd like to share your experience using Logitech G HUB with this mouse, feel free to leave a comment in the discussions section. However, the CPI buttons around the scroll wheel are awfully placed, and it isn't comfortable to reach them.

For example, out of the box, the two left buttons on the mouse will go forward and back in your web browser. I've owned both versions and never had a single problem with them being able to keep up with my movements. The Logitech MX518 mouse has been a huge win for me, and I can contribute a lot of my online success to it throughout the years.

Had 3 of each before I change to Mionix, all 3 MS3 broke down within 3 months and the 5K lasted almost 3 months each. From a gaming point of view, the 1600dpi sensor found in the MX518 will be a real draw for anyone wanting to improve their frag count. my mouse (Logitech MX 518, not the original version but the new release - about one year old) stopped working in OpenSuse Leap 15. If you have any questions regarding the Logitech MX518 mouse, feel free to drop them below in the comments, and I’ll do my best to answer them. However, for me, a wireless mouse is just not good enough for gaming – I can always feel a slight lag when playing with a wireless mouse, and once again, this could be the difference between living and dying; or more importantly, gloating or sulking.

On gaming 9 times out of 10 when I play (BF3 mainly), I end up with a positive K/D ratio, and without this mouse I dont think that would be the case. This mouse feels comfortable to use, although people with small hands may not feel comfortable using it with any grip type. The MX518 is the older varient of a G400, I don't own a G400 so I can't make a direct comparison of it. Of course having a good mouse to navigate Windows will definitely aid your productivity, but if like me, you’re a serious gamer, having the right mouse can mean the difference between life and death.I’m not sure what the indentations are supposed to represent, but it certainly adds some style to what most users consider to be a function over form bit of kit. There are also three small buttons near the scroll wheel: one button to switch the active window and two buttons to change the dpi on the fly. As an office mouse Logitech MX 518 G is a good mouse, in fact it’s much better than any usual office mouse. The Logitech MX518 redefines extreme gaming mice with the award-winning MX Optical Engine that delivers an ultra-high 1600 dpi resolution. Ever since the beginning of computer gaming, players have always been trying to find a way to get an edge against their opponents.
