This book is relatively new out and so it’s a favourite as they are all new recipes to me and look delicious, but I haven’t had a chance to try too many of them yet which is why my rating is undecided at the moment!

Patsy Catsos MS, RDN, LD is a medical nutrition therapist, FODMAP expert, and author. Her book, “IBS-Free at Last” was the inspiration for my FODMAP journey all those years ago. I credit Patsy for my positive experiences with my IBS, and with beginning a lifelong plan of healthy and happy eating.

And apparently, you guys agree. When I asked my private community if they’d rather have a low-FODMAP cookbook or modify recipes themselves, the majority wanted recipes they could follow WITHOUT thinking about it.

Any of these books would be great cook books for you to add to your low-FODMAP recipe collections. They all have easy to follow instructions, great color photographs, and healthy meals. Many of them also have a great amount of information about IBS and other digestive conditions. Most people are familiar with The Everything Guide series of books. This particular one about the low-FODMAP diet was written by Barbara Bolen, a clinical psychologist and Kathleen Bradley, a registered dietician. This is probably one of the most comprehensive guides you’ll find on the low-FODMAP diet (because The Everything Guide books are always comprehensive as the name suggests). Leave out taco seasoning unless you can find one without garlic and onion. Bibimbap Nourishing BowlIf you are looking for more than just a cook book, our recommendation is to choose a book written by a medical professional for the most accurate advice. They will not only know the diseases in and out, but they have the training you need and can actually give medical advice that goes along with a low-FODMAP diet.
