What I discovered post tasting was that alongside their whiskeys, they also have a gin, Ninth Wave. I was curious, given their creativity in whiskey, what would they bring to gin? Thankfully, they very kindly offered to send me a bottle so I could find out.

The Ninth Wave bottle is adorned with the Celtic Triskellion, and the story behind it has deep roots in Celtic mythology. Taste wise, let’s head in neat first. The nose has the soft citrus from the coriander and orange, a little sweetness from the pot still, and the warm spiciness from the cassia, grains of paradise and the well handled cardamom (not too much, not too little) sits right at the tip. The Experience will unwrap the mastery behind making a world-renowned whiskey and gin, as well as the story behind the business.
