However some sulfates are so good at their job, they can wash off your skin’s own natural oils that keep it moisturised and protected which can lead to dryness and irritation. Cosrx also added some extra ingredients that also add to the hydrating and soothing effects: betaine, butylene glycol, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, allantoin and arginine. The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA (still testing this, used only at night) > Etude House Soon Jung pH 5.5 Relief Toner (basic light toner) > SIORIS Time Is Running Out Mist ( reviewed, have only a couple of sprays left) > This cream

We are big fans of Pyunkang Yul here at Skinsider. They have products that are quintessential K-Beauty. From their highly touted toner to their deep-acting cleansing foam, this is a brand that excels in remaining focused on skin concerns. I found this one very slightly heavier and richer than the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, so I think this is more suitable if your skin is drier. I also found it more hydrating and slightly lighter than the Isntree one. Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner has always been the firm favourite amongst the Skinsider family. It is a fantastic toner to have and does a great job helping reinvigorate the skin after cleansing. Some customers love the smaller 100ml bottle as it’s great to take on holiday with you. Don’t forget, we have a dedicated section for all our vegan products if you are looking for K-Beauty vegan-friendly options. Is Pyunkang Yul suitable for sensitive skin?

The first and biggest concern is that if EGF is so good at stimulating cell proliferation, how does it relate to cancer? Isthe definition of cancer not "cells proliferating out of control"? Most experts agree on this answer: EGF ismitogenic (= stimulates cell proliferation) but notmutagenic (= does not alter the cell to make it cancerous) .If you do not have cancer, you will not get cancer from EGF. However, if you have cancerous cells, EGF will help them to spread, just like it helps healthy cells. So if you have a lot of moles, excessive UV exposure in the past, or if you have any of the skin cancer risk factors, we suggest you should think twice about using EGF products. The same is true if you have psoriasis, a skin disease related to the abnormal growth of epidermal skin cells. You do not want to add fuel to the firewith EGF. So I think this product could work if it fits into your routine. If you have really dehydrated skin and you want one hardcore hydrating product in your routine that keeps your skin plump all day – this isn’t it. But if you want something lightweight and soothing, if your skin isn’t super thirsty, if you want a hydrating toner for summer, or if you use lots of layers of hydration, if you’re doing the 7 skins method, this is great. Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream

The best known GAG in skincare is hyaluronic acid, and the sugary molecules in snail essence works along similar lines – they’re really good at holding onto water and acting as a humectant moisturiser. Aside from hyaluronic acid, you don’t really see these a lot in skincare. As a result, please note this is only an experimental label that can be best used to possible identify problematic products you have used in the past. It is in no way a perfect identifier nor a predictor in whether or not it will exacerbate or cause fungal acne. It will continue to be worked on as more information and research comes to light. Additionally, products that may contain ingredients that have shown to feed Malassezia may not neccessarily exacerbate the condition due to concentration of ingredient used in the product, this information is simply not available on the products. There's still a lot of support for avoiding parabens following the better safe than sorry route. If you do we completely support you! Ok, so now we know what ceramides are, let's see what they do in our skin: research shows clearly that they play a super important role in keeping the skin barrier healthy and the skin hydrated. If ceramides in the skin are decreased, more water can evaporate from the skin and there is less water remaining in the skin. So ceramides form kind of a "water-proof" protecting layerand make sure that our skin remains nice and hydrated. Likewise, those just looking to maintain the appearance of their skin and who wish to prevent long-term damage can turn to Pyunkang Yul as a brand that prioritises the health of their skin. But in general, this is a very popular product that works well for a lot of people and it’s a great first product if you’re dipping your toes into Korean skincare. Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner

Da version: this is the size that is claimed to be able to absorb into the skin and plump up wrinkles, so it is used mainly as an "anti-aging ingredient" Pyunkang Yul have pioneered new skincare technologies with products such as the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner and the Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream. Products such as these capitalise on the brand’s philosophy of creating safe and gentle skincare products that are made from the bare minimum number of ingredients. Most people will find no issues with sulfate, however if you find your skin doesn't like sulfates then free feel to avoid them by looking out for the sulfate-free icon on Skincarisma. The toner has astragalus root extract as the main ingredient. It’s a herb used in Eastern medicine, and there’s not much evidence for what it does on skin, but most plant extracts have some level of humectants for hydrating, and antioxidants that soothe and soak up free radicals on skin. This specific extract also has betaine (soothing and hydrating) and minerals. P.S. I will not be reviewing the Etude House Soon Jung toner as I feel it is a really basic lightweight toner for all skin types. Nothing much to say about it for me.
